beautiful entrance but limited dining options
The hotel had a stunning entrance where our family enjoyed gathering before we left for the day. Our Classic King Room offered breathtaking views of the city and was both comfortable and spotless.
Though the overall experience was great, the on-site dining options could use some improvement.

Beautiful hotel, great location, with a stunning view from the rooftop bar and a convenient cable car stop right in front of the building.

Great stay with friends! We explored the nearby cable car museum and Grace Cathedral, both within walking distance. Room was comfy with awesome city views. Breakfast at Nob Hill Club was decent, but keep in mind it caters limited dietary options. The Top of the Mark bar is a must-visit for its live music and stunning views!
One downside was breakfast not accommodating gluten-free needs. They didn't have gluten-free bread available, which was disappointing.

We had a corner room with awesome views and super comfy beds. The decor felt a bit old-fashioned, but it added to the charm. The room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was nice too. Just wish the carpet and upholstery weren’t so worn out. Overall, a pleasant spot to crash after a busy day.

I loved how comfy the Classic King Room was, and the breakfast spread was just fantastic! The rooftop lounge is a great spot to unwind. The cozy bar area made evenings enjoyable. Just a heads up, the restaurant had some off nights with the food quality, but overall, I really enjoyed my stay! 😊

Situated in a historic area, the elegance of the hotel is undeniable, complimented by a warm and outstanding staff. The rooftop bar is a must-see, offering breathtaking views, and dining options were enjoyable, particularly traditional local cakes. However, navigating the steep surroundings can be challenging, and access to basic amenities like bottled water could be improved.

I had a memorable stay at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins. The views from my Classic King Room were absolutely stunning. Waking up to the city skyline felt like a treat every day. The room itself was comfortable with elegant decor that matched the hotel’s historic charm. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped with quality toiletries. I particularly enjoyed the Top of the Mark bar. The cocktails and the live music created a fantastic atmosphere, making it a highlight of the trip. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the welcoming vibe of the hotel. However, I encountered a few issues. The elevator was painfully slow, which became frustrating, especially during peak times. Also, I had a little trouble with housekeeping. they were not as responsive as I'd hoped when I requested extra towels. While these inconveniences impacted my stay a bit, the overall experience still left me wanting to return in the future.

A room with a view, perhaps
My stay at the hotel was highlighted by the breathtaking views from my room. The room was clean, and the delicious breakfast set the tone for a fantastic day.
On the downside, the elevator was frustratingly slow, making it a bit challenging to get around, especially during peak times when I was in a hurry.
